USA Today Highlights MelRok as ‘Top 10 Innovator in Energy’.

The USA Today has highlighted MelRok as one of the top 10 technology innovators in energy at the recent US Green Building Council’s GreenBuild Conference.

MelRok’s CEO, Dr. Michel Kamel, PhD from Stanford, introduced MelRok’s transformational Energy Platform:

“Coming to a home near you very soon are small devices that can fit in the palm of your hand and will be able to read your smart meter,” says Michel Kamel, CEO of California-based MelRok, adding they’ll cost less than $100 and will help residents manage their energy use. Early next year, his company will release its own version.”

According to U.S. Green Building Council and LEED founder David Gottfried:

“We can measure and control everything — every outlet, every light switch, every mechanical system and every fixture,” says David Gottfried, founder of the U.S. Green Building Council. He estimates monitoring can help consumers save 30% to 50% of energy and water.”

MelRok streams energy information for savings. GreenBuild is the annual conference of the US Green Building Council that established, owns, and provides worldwide LEED certification for buildings and experts.
