ASWB Engineering, a leading engineering consulting firm in Southern California, selected MelRok to support the demonstration of a Virtual Powerplant to a major Southern California Utility. The project entails installation and configuration of the MelRok Energy IoT platform to manage the various distributed energy resources onsite (including EV chargers and photovoltaics) and reduce on-peak HVAC demand. The project will demonstrate using DER and demand management to maximize grid reliability and customer savings potential.
