The State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China, also known as the Chinese Patent Office, awarded MelRok today its first Chinese patent. Patent No. ZL201280068239.1 is entitled ‘ENERGY SEARCH ENGINE METHODS AND SYSTEMS’. The patent claims a method and apparatus to gather energy from systems in a building, sending the data to a cloud engine for analysis, and sending control messages back to the building systems.
