MelRok awarded its first Japanese patent for an Energy Search Engine
The Japan Patent Office awarded MelRok today its first Japanese patent. Patent No. 2014-544803 is entitled ‘ENERGY SEARCH ENGINE METHODS AND SYSTEMS’. The patent claims a method and apparatus to gather energy from systems in a building, sending the data to a cloud engine for analysis, and sending control messages back to the building systems.
MelRok provides a secure real time Energy Optimization and Demand Management Platform. MelRok’s platform has multiple applications including managing distributed energy resources (DERs), energy management system fault detection and diagnostics, as well as Automated Demand Response management.
