Pomona College won two awards today, July 9th, at the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference in Santa Barbara, CA, for their energy optimization work using the MelRok, LLC platform. MelRok is proud of its association with Pomona College and pleased to see them being rewarded for the leading edge work they are doing in their path towards carbon neutrality. The first award was the Private Colleges Energy and Sustainability Best Practice Award for Pomona’s work in reducing energy demand on campus. In addition, Dotty Hage, PMP, CSM, Pomona College Energy and Project Manager, received the esteemed Private College Sustainability Champion Award for his work improving sustainability on campus.
